Mrs. Schultz’s Classroom Rules
Classroom Rules:
1. Follow directions the first time given
2. Raise your hand and wait to be called on
3. BE RESPECTFUL – Keep hands, feet, objects, and unkind comments to yourself
4. BE RESPONSIBLE – Bring the necessary supplies to class (homework, binder, pen/pencils, etc…)
5. BE PRODUCTIVE – No talking during quiet working times
Consequences:
Students will be given a warning. After that, recess will be taken away in 5 minutes increments. Once a student has lost his/her whole recess, parents will be contacted or a detention will be given. If a severe disruption occurs, students will be sent to Mr. Andriano and could possibly lose the chance to participate in special activities.
Rewards:
- Notes home -“Right Knight” tickets
- Brownie points - Free time
- Special activities - Sticker on his/her chart
- Candy treat - Homework pass
I strive to make the classroom safe and comfortable for all students. Thus, I have set up the above rules and I expect all students to follow them. I will discuss the rules, consequences, and rewards with the class. However, I would appreciate it if you would also review the plan with your child. I will keep you updated on your child’s progress. Please feel free to contact me with any issues.
